The Anti-Corruption Tribunal determined that the 26-year-old spinner breached three counts of the sport’s anti-corruption code during his participation in the Abu Dhabi T10 League last year. This sanction removes him from all forms of cricket for the duration of the penalty, marking a significant enforcement action against corruption within the sport.
Reddy was playing for the Aspin Stallions team when the alleged misconduct occurred. The squad, which reached the final of the 2025 tournament, included notable former international players such as India’s Harbhajan Singh and England’s Sam Billings. Reddy made his debut for the USA national team in April 2025 against the Cayman Islands and had appeared in four Twenty20 matches for the country prior to this ruling.
The tribunal’s findings centered on Reddy’s attempts to improperly influence the result, progress, or conduct of matches during the Abu Dhabi T10 League. In addition to attempting to fix games, he was found guilty of encouraging another participant to engage in match-fixing activities. Compounding the offenses, Reddy was found to have obstructed the investigation by deleting data and messages from his mobile device. The eight-year ban has been backdated to November 21, 2025, the date on which he was provisionally suspended after making two appearances in the T10 League.
